The dynamic load balancing EV charger is a device that ensures the overall energy balance of the system is maintained. It saves energy by adapting the charging capacity to the current demand, preventing power grid overload when multiple devices are charging simultaneously.
It can divide the burden of the grid evenly among several EV chargers and protect the power grid from damage caused by overloading. Additionally, it monitors charging voltage to save power when the vehicle is fully charged.
Most UK families are wired with a PME system (Protective Multiple Earth). These systems have the potential for a rare fault called neutral failure. Our PEN Fault Detection protects against these upstream disconnections.
If not equipped with this protection, the shell of the EV could be charged with voltage equal to the fire line L, posing a fatal electric shock risk. Our system automatically detects these faults to ensure user safety.
