SECC Communication Solution

The SECC is a PLC communication converter for full-function power supply equipment at charger side, which conforms to ISO15118 (TLS, Pnc, AC), DIN70121, SAE, CHAdeMO PLC communication protocol standards. It features PD detection function on the circuit board to support two-way communication (V2G protocol) applications.

Available Parts: GQSE8819 and GQSE3.2-CHA

Supply Equipment Communication Controller (SECC)

SECC is a full-featured charging communication converter for chargers, converting CAN communication signals of standard chargers into PLC signals conforming to ISO15118 (EIM) and DIN70121 standards. It supports real-time output of diagnostic information via serial port for easy troubleshooting and can automatically select AC EIM and BC modes.

SECC Module Diagram

The SECC acts as a bridge between the DC charger power electronics and the electric vehicle's battery management system, implementing high-level communication via the power line communication (PLC) standard. It can be configured as the main controller of an AC or DC charger.
